In our Banking & Digital Solutions segment, we offer the property and housing industry a wide range of digital solutions. In addition to time, cost and efficiency gains, these can also contribute to greater transparency and an improved environmental footprint. This enables our customers to realise CO2 and energy savings. In addition, we are constantly looking at future topics and technical innovations in order to assess the potential for increasing efficiency and optimising processes and to develop new property management solutions.
Our portfolio of innovative, process-optimised, environmentally friendly digital solutions
We have set ourselves the goal of leveraging the strategic advantages offered by digitalisation and enabling our clients to improve their own sustainability performance; this can be achieved, for example, through efficiency gains and by reducing their environmental footprint, e.g. by optimising and automating manual and paper-based processes with the help of IT.
Our pioneering, integrated IT solutions all meet the highest possible security requirements. They are reliably protected against attack and offer full control of inbound and outbound data transmissions at all times, which means sensitive data are in the best possible hands. Aareon's information security management system, which is certified according to the internationally recognised ISO/IEC 27001 standard, and additional voluntary data protection and data security audits demonstrate the key importance for the Group of IT systems security, of the information processed using the systems and of our digital business processes.
Data in the Aareon Cloud are stored exclusively in Germany in data centres that are independently operated by the company itself. The data centres are linked by a dedicated, encrypted fibre optic network. Aareon’s customers access their data at Aareon using dedicated WANs (wide area networks) or encrypted VPNs (virtual private networks). Multi-layer firewalls prevent data stored in the Aareon Cloud from unauthorised access via the Internet. Two-way communication with clients plays a critical role for Aareal Bank Group and its daily business. In the segment Banking & Digital Solutions, forums such as our customer advisory boards and continuous liaison ensure the Company knows what its clients want. They are the most important starting point for enhancing our product and service portfolio. This allows us to identify housing industry and IT trends early on and implement them in applications in in dialogue with our customers.
The Banking & Digital Solutions segment sees itself as a partner to the housing and energy industries. We therefore support two sectors that are particularly important in the necessary transformation.
